stride is an all-inclusive community where interaction is not only encouraged but necessary to ensure the overall success of the game. We recognize that not everyone will get along but what we do ask, above everything else, is that everyone treats each other wil respect, recognizes the boundary between IC and OOC conflict, and that you try to resolve things as best you can by communicating directly with one another. If ever there is an issue, mods are always available via the dropbox or private message - whichever you prefer. Please feel free to reach out at any time and we will get back to you as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours. At all times, please keep in mind that this is a hobby that we are all here to enjoy in our own way and please allow your fellow members that same courtesy.

PBs must have some level of notoriety to be considered valid for use. If you're unsure, feel free to drop us a question. We will only allow PBs that are 18+ years of age and we do adhere to the 5 year rule. We strongly encourage diversity in PB choice, and do ask that PB choice be age and ethnicity appropriate.
We do not allow challenges or overrides.
Each member must have both a backdated friends only post and a backdated OOC contact post with a blurb and few basics about your character, such as: their full name, date of birth, age, etc. What you choose to share is up to you but we want to see that have at least a framework for the character you will be bringing into our game.
In favor of streamlining the application process, we are not requiring examples at this time. We are all here to let our creativity flow freely. We believe that character development will build over time and want to welcome anyone looking for a home to write and explore.

All members are required to make an introduction within 72 hours of being accepted into the community. This must be done in COMM. As this is your first opportunity to interact with the game as a whole, we feel that it is important to engage right from the start. That being said, members must also reply to the majority of comments on their first intro post to demonstrate activity as part of the community.
stride members are responsible for completing a minimum of two forms of activity each month:
The first of these can be a written update such as narratives, personal journal entries, thoughts and opinions, etc. or, alternatively, they can be media posts which include instagram updates, playlists, photo sharing, mood boards or any other creative ideas you may have. we encourage diversity in content and will count any substantial post, private or public, as your activity requirement.
Secondly, we require all members to participate in one game-wide social activity per month. We will be posting group activities, events, ffas, and plot posts throughout the month, all of these would count towards social activity. Members are also free to post public events, movie nights, games, group discussions, anything that is open and welcoming to input for all members. Initiation and/or active participation in any of these will satisfy the social activity requirement.
All members must ensure that their friends list is up to date at least once every two weeks. If your friends list is outdated over two weeks, you may be removed from the game. You may reapply at any time.
We also ask that members leave their friends list visible at all times and refrain from using the NOEMBED code in their profile to block visibility. Members who have the NOEMBED code in their profile will receive one warning before removal.
